Job SummaryThis role provides a broad range of learning support across planning, implementation, evaluation, operations, and reporting to support and advise the Canadian Business Banking (CBB) L&D portfolio. It analyzes and supports the development and execution of L&D solutions as per line of business prioritized initiatives. In addition to core Learning Specialist responsibilities, this role can lead selected low-to medium-complex initiatives end-to-end, functioning as a beginner-intermediate dual Learning Solutions Architect (LSA) / Project Manager (PM), while supporting large pan-portfolio and line-of-business (LOB) initiatives under the direction of the Lead LSA. This role supports the Canadian Business Banking portfolio and reports directly to the Senior Manager, Learning Solutions Architect.

Key ResponsibilitiesLearning Solution Delivery & Project Leadership
- Supports the Lead Learning Solution Architect (LSA) in the execution of large, pan-portfolio CBB L&D initiatives and complex learning solutions aligned to LOB priorities and LOB-specific initiatives.
- Supports the Lead LSA in deployment of large-scale programs including domain learning onboarding, leadership development, and people management programs (partnering with business, HR partners and Leadership Development COE on learner inquiries, enrolments, and managing learner attendance records).
- Leads identified low-to medium-complex initiatives end-to-end as assigned/determined by the Lead LSA (business domain specific and/or people management/leadership projects/programs).
- Supports Lead LSA to prepare project kickoff materials for portfolio initiatives.
- Identifies and escalates risks to annual plan execution (impacts to scope, timing, or budget) for escalation to the Lead LSA.
- Protects the interests of the organization; identify and manage risks, and escalate non-standard, high-risk activities as necessary.
Stakeholder, Vendor & COE Engagement
- Acts as primary point of contact for coordination.
- Organizes meetings, documents, and follows up on actions.
- Supports vendor onboarding and COE engagement.
Learning Operations & LMS Management
- Provides oversight and submission of learning intakes which engage required COE and partners in support of L&D annual plan projects (e.g., intakes to engage LMS team, HR DAR, Business Management, Program Support, SSG/Vendor Management and Delivery), as recommended by Lead LSA.
- Manages ad-hoc business-required LMS requests, when / where / as appropriate.
- Collaborates with LMS consultants and business course owners to define and obtain approvals of LMS specification documents in preparation for program launch.
- Responds to business requests for available learning assets on specific topics or to develop a specific competency, including researching access to learning program options through vendors/off-the-shelf solutions.
- Supports learning issue resolution and escalation (e.g., course exemptions, course functionality issues within the portfolio learning curriculum, registration) and liaises with HR, business and L&D stakeholders to resolve.
Process Improvement, Research & Documentation
- Identifies, recommends, and implements opportunities for process improvements (e.g., tools, forms, tracking, reporting, etc.) to increase efficiencies in the execution of a learning solution, prioritized portfolio initiatives.
- Performs research (both internal and external) as required to support and inform L&D analysis and recommendations (e.g., LMS courses/curricula maintenance and retirement, contributing to business cases for portfolio initiatives).
- Supports executive presentations and communications to management or broader audiences.
Reporting, Budget Tracking & Evaluation
- Contributes to quarterly Learning Business Reviews.
- Supports budget and learner analytics reporting.
- Conducts evaluations and maintains assessment frameworks.
