Your Role
As a Learning & Development Specialist - Snr, you will
- Design and deliver blended learning programmes (classroom, virtual, e-learning) aligned with business goals
- Create content and learning materials tailored to operational, behavioural, leadership, and compliance needs
- Facilitate high-impact training sessions across leadership and soft skills areas
- Conduct pre- and post-training assessments to measure knowledge retention and application
- Track learning outcomes using models such as Kirkpatrick's and recommend improvements
- Prepare periodic reports on learning effectiveness, participation, and ROI for leadership review
- Contribute to the optimisation of the Learning Management System (LMS), including course development, content updates, and data integrity
- Identify and integrate suitable digital learning tools and content providers
- Collaborate with line managers, HR Business Partners, and functional leaders to identify and address skill gaps
- Act as a learning consultant to advise on development solutions for team and individual needs
- Mentor and support junior members of the L&D team, guiding quality of delivery and facilitation
- Promote a culture of continuous learning by championing internal knowledge sharing, mentorship, and self-directed learning initiatives
- Apply technical expertise and discipline-specific knowledge to deliver high-quality outcomes within your area of specialization.
- Apply the Company's frameworks to guide role expectations, levels of responsibility, skills, development, and progression
- Undertake any other reasonable duties and/or responsibilities as required by management, to meet the needs of the business
What We’re Looking For
Skills and Competencies
- Strong command of learning facilitation techniques, including experiential and virtual methods
- Proficiency in LMS platforms (e.g. Darwinbox, SuccessFactors, Moodle)
- Proficient in MS Office and LMS platforms
- Competence in content creation and instructional design tools such as Canva, Synthesia, Easygenerator, CapCut, Adobe Captivate and MS PowerPoint, and openness to learning new tools that support individuals to design and develop content
- Familiarity with learning metrics and evaluation frameworks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Training in instructional design, adult learning theory, or facilitation
- Exposure to digital learning systems and blended learning formats
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in People & Culture, Education, Psychology, or Business, and/or equivalent demonstrated experience
- Professional certification in L&D (e.g. ATD, CIPD, or equivalent)
- 5+ years' progressive experience in Learning & Development or Corporate Training
