Position Purpose
Are you passionate about creating exceptional employee experiences and supporting the learning and development of others? We’re looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join the Learning and Development team in our Human Resources department.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping the onboarding journey for new and returning employees, coordinating impactful learning programs, and ensuring seamless delivery of corporate training initiatives. You’ll manage our Learning Management System, support vendor relationships, and maintain high-quality data and resources that drive learning success across the organization.

What You Will Do
- Manage onboarding activities, resources and check-ins and lead orientation for all new and rehires, providing a positive and consistent experience for employees.
- Assist with the design, scheduling and coordination of learning and development programs including the creation and maintenance of communications, templates, materials, guides, presentations and internal sites.
- Support the annual identification of IO’s corporate curriculum and coordinate corporate learning offerings including scheduling, logistics, communications, registration and follow-ups, sending out coursework, and supporting with room with set-up and preparation of materials.
- Provide administration for our Learning Management System (LMS) including adding courses and virtual learning sessions, tracking enrolment and completion rates, and supporting internal stakeholders who leverage the LMS.
- Assist with the procurement of vendors for learning and development programs and proactively maintain our contract management, including processing procurement documentation and maintaining communications and service agreements with vendors.
- Maintain all learning and development data ensuring quality, consistency, accuracy, and completeness of the data on an ongoing regular basis.
- Support the Learning Manager with the design and development of learning solutions; assist with facilitation as needed.
- Be the main point of contact for employees and leaders for learning and development programs, providing daily monitoring and responses to inquiries and providing support for and troubleshooting our learning platforms, as required.
- Assist with other special projects, initiatives, reporting and documentation, as required.
Who We’re Looking For
- A few years of experience in human resources, learning and development, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint with the ability to adapt to and learn new applications, as needed.
- Experience with Dayforce Learning and Dayforce Performance Management is an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines with strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills.
- You will have exceptional organizational skills with great attention to detail.
- Strong ability to collaborate and meaningfully engage with colleagues and clients at all levels within the organization.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing a high volume of activities and changing priorities.
- Self-motivated and curiosity that is undeterred by a fast-moving environment.

We offer a competitive salary range of
$62,600 to
$93,900 (P2 level), pay will align with skills, knowledge and experience of the candidate.
