About the Role
We are seeking a Learning & Development Designer/Developer (LMS Administrator) to support enterprise learning initiatives within the HR Learning & Development team. This role will focus on configuring and maintaining a large-scale LMS platform, ensuring audience accuracy, compliance with training requirements, and smooth execution of learning operations.
You will join a remote team of 10 professionals, collaborating closely with stakeholders and learning partners. Success will be measured by accuracy in course configuration, audience scoping, and adherence to timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Audience Scoping & Configuration
- Review audience requirements with course owners and stakeholders.
- Create and maintain audience documentation (Audience Approval Documents).
- Build and validate LMS audiences against requirements.
- Implement post-launch audience adjustments as needed.
LMS Operations
- Process Learning Needs Requests (LNRs) and LMS maintenance tasks.
- Configure and test eLearning, Instructor-Led Training, and Virtual courses.
- Support course launches and ensure accurate setup.
Collaboration & Support
- Partner with Learning Solutions Architects, Program Managers, L&D Developers, and HR data teams.
- Advise stakeholders on LMS capabilities and best practices.
Documentation & Compliance
- Complete and maintain LMS specifications documentation.
- Track configuration decisions and approvals.
- Ensure compliance with operational and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Adult Learning & Development.
- 5–10 years’ experience in learning technology and LMS administration.
- Strong ability to interpret and apply HR data for audience targeting.
- Prior experience with SumTotal LMS (or comparable platform).
- Experience with ticketing systems and workflow tools.
Soft Skills
- High attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fully remote team environment.
Nice to Have
- Financial services or large corporate experience.
- Instructional Design or HR-related background.
- Certification in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, or Human Performance Technology.
