Learning & Development Lead
The Opportunity
Our client is seeking an experienced Learning & Development Lead to join their HR team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR or L&D professional who enjoys designing engaging learning experiences while also managing the operational delivery of development programmes across the organisation.
Working closely with the wider Talent team, you will play a key role in building organisational capability through the design, coordination and facilitation of learning initiatives that support employees and leaders at every stage of their careers.
This role offers a blend of strategic programme development and hands-on delivery, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working across the full learning and development lifecycle.
Location: Dublin or Wexford (Hybrid Working Available)
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and deliver engaging learning and development programmes for employees and leaders.
- Facilitate both virtual and classroom-based workshops, webinars and training sessions.
- Coordinate the end-to-end delivery of learning programmes, including scheduling, participant communications, enrolment and programme logistics.
- Create high-quality learning materials including facilitator guides, participant workbooks, digital learning content and supporting resources.
- Partner with HR colleagues and business leaders to identify capability needs and recommend appropriate learning solutions.
- Support leadership development, early careers programmes and organisational capability initiatives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on learning, career development and professional development opportunities.
- Manage relationships with external learning providers and training partners.
- Maintain and administer the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring learning records and reporting remain accurate.
- Analyse learning data and programme effectiveness using reporting tools to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Contribute to wider HR and talent projects, bringing a learning and capability-building perspective.
About You
You are an experienced Learning & Development or HR professional with a passion for helping people develop and succeed. You are comfortable facilitating learning sessions, building relationships with stakeholders and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
You will have:
- Previous experience within Learning & Development, Talent Development or Human Resources.
- Proven experience designing and delivering training programmes and learning initiatives.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills with confidence delivering to a variety of audiences.
- Experience coordinating learning programmes from planning through to evaluation.
- Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and learning administration.
- Strong organisational and project management skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to build strong working relationships across the business.
- Experience using reporting tools such as Power BI would be advantageous.
- CIPD qualification and/or a recognised Learning & Development qualification would be beneficial.
