Learning & Development Partner
Our client, a well-established Irish organisation with operations nationwide are hiring an L&D Partner to deliver practical, impactful learning across their corporate and operational teams.
This is a broad L&D position working across the full discipline - You'll partner with senior stakeholders to diagnose capability needs, design solutions, coordinate delivery (often through external partners), and measure business impact. You'll work within an established learning framework covering leadership development, digital capability, organisational agility, and career development.
The role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on delivery - you'll need credibility to present to senior leadership while also managing the practical execution of multiple learning initiatives simultaneously.
The role:
- Partner with senior stakeholders (functional leads, HRBPs, business leaders) to identify and address capability gaps
- Lead delivery of leadership programmes and talent development initiatives
- Support organisation-wide learning projects including learning events, skills frameworks, and capability building
- Coordinate external learning partners and manage programme quality
- Build digital capability across the organisation - general upskilling and confidence building, not system implementation
- Evaluate effectiveness of learning interventions and report on business impact
- Present to and influence at senior leadership level
- Manage multiple L&D projects simultaneously across different capability areas
What were looking for:
Essential:
- 5+ years solid L&D experience across the full learning cycle (diagnosis, design, delivery, evaluation)
- Broad L&D generalist with proven track record in the discipline
- Strong stakeholder management - comfortable presenting to and influencing senior leaders and challenging stakeholders
- Credibility and gravitas - can hold your own in corporate settings and build trust quickly
- Strong interpersonal skills - relationship builder who can navigate complex organisations
- Digital awareness - comfortable with emerging trends (AI, automation, future of work) and building digital confidence in others
- Ability to articulate ROI and business impact - measuring success beyond completion rates
- Formal L&D qualification (e.g. CIPD, L&DI) OR evidence of continuous professional development in the field
- Strong project management skills with ability to juggle multiple priorities
Desirable:
- Experience in larger organisations (400+ employees) with complex stakeholder environments
- Some exposure to diverse audiences including operational or customer-facing teams
- Experience coordinating external vendors and learning partners
- Capability framework or career pathway design experience
- Experience supporting business transformation through learning
- Understanding of blended learning design and delivery
The Package:
- Salary: €60,000 - €70,000
- 15% performance bonus
