About the Job:
The Senior Learning & Development Consultant is a market-facing, end-to-end role within the New Metrics Learning Academy, suited to an experienced L&D professional with a consulting mindset.
We are looking for an experienced professional who is comfortable shaping learning solutions with clients, designing high-quality programs, and overseeing delivery, while contributing to pipeline growth and long-term client partnerships across the GCC region.
The role plays a key part in building and expanding the Academy’s presence, acting as a trusted advisor to clients and a senior contributor across learning design, commercial shaping, and engagement delivery.
Your Main Duties Will Include:
Client Delivery & Program Leadership
- Own small to medium size Academy programs end-to-end, from mobilisation through delivery and close-out.
- Own client deliverables, including reports, insights, recommendations, and final impact summaries.
- Lead the design of learning journeys and academies
- When required, facilitate workshops and learning interventions.
- Ensure a consistently high-quality participant and client experience.
- Manage day-to-day project operations including scope, timelines, commercials, and reporting.
- Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and change-control processes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across HR, Talent, Leadership, and Business functions.
Business Development & Solution Design
- Represent the New Metrics Learning Academy, strengthening brand presence and credibility, and partnering closely with Principals and Academy leadership to shape market strategy and priorities.
- Own proposals for small and mid-sized learning opportunities, including solution design, structure, and pricing.
- Lead or contribute to proposal storyboarding and RFP development sessions.
- Design client-specific learning solutions aligned to business priorities and capability needs.
- Support Engagement Managers and Principals in shaping learning-led client conversations.
- Contribute to Academy go-to-market content including capability decks, proposals, and thought leadership.
Internal Leadership & Quality Assurance
- Mentor and coach Analysts and Consultants within the Learning Academy.
- Review and quality-assure junior team members’ work, providing structured feedback.
- Lead continuous improvement of Academy templates, tools, and delivery methodologies.
- Quality-assure learning materials, agendas and facilitators.
- Act as a senior role model for delivery excellence, professionalism, and client leadership.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of Academy offerings based on market insights.
Skills & Capabilities
- Strong commercial judgement.
- Clear, persuasive written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to confidently lead client discussions independently.
- Proven ability to manage multiple learning programs concurrently.
- Strong analytical skills, translating insight into practical learning outcomes.
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, with high attention to quality and detail.
- Strong instructional design experience
- Experience in facilitator (preferred but not essential)
Experience & Qualifications
- 6+ years’ experience in learning & development, consulting, leadership development, or capability building roles.
- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering complex learning programs or academies.
- Strong facilitation experience with management and leadership audiences.
- Experience owning proposals, pricing, and commercial delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Psychology, Education, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Fluency in English required; Arabic proficiency strongly preferred.
- Flexibility to travel as required.
