As part of its continued growth, the organization is seeking an experienced Talent Development Manager to drive learning and development initiatives across multiple business units and operational environments.
The Role
The Talent Development Lead plays a pivotal role in shaping, delivering, and continuously enhancing the Learning & Development strategy across the organization.
This role requires close collaboration with HR Business Partners, business leaders, and operational stakeholders to understand the specific learning needs of departments and parks, ensuring learning initiatives are closely aligned with business objectives and operational excellence.
The position combines strategic L&D planning with hands-on delivery, supporting colleagues at all levels through impactful, blended learning solutions.
Role Scope & Key Responsibilities
Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization, including regular engagement through park walks, events, and on-site interactions.
- Partner closely with HR Business Partners and business leaders to understand department and park-specific learning requirements.
- Act as a trusted advisor on learning and capability development initiatives.
End-to-End Learning Cycle Management
- Align learning initiatives with organizational strategy and operational priorities.
- Deliver the full learning lifecycle, including:
- Learning Needs Analysis
- Program design and development
- Delivery of blended learning solutions
- Evaluation and continuous improvement
- Facilitate impactful training workshops covering knowledge-based and soft-skills development for colleagues across all levels.
- Design and deploy digital learning content using tools such as Articulate and VYond, publishing modules via platforms including LMS, MS Teams, Viva Engage, and Loop.
- Support the maintenance of accurate and timely learning records and reporting.
- Collaborate with the Talent Management team to support Individual Development Plan (IDP) implementation.
Cross-Functional Support
- Support Emiratization initiatives in collaboration with relevant internal teams.
- Contribute to internship programs, cross-training, and multi-skilling initiatives as required.
- Provide L&D support for organizational projects and transformation initiatives.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Education & Certifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
- Train the Trainer Certification (ATD / ISTD).
- Certification in Facilitation (ATD) and/or Coaching (ICF).
Professional Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Learning & Development, with strong exposure to both program design and delivery.
- Proven facilitation and training delivery experience.
- Demonstrable L&D experience within the Hospitality, Entertainment, Tourism, Retail, or Theme Park industries.
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of:
- Learning Needs Analysis
- Instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE)
- Training delivery and facilitation
- Training evaluation models (Kirkpatrick, Phillips ROI, etc.)
- Continuous improvement in learning effectiveness
- Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and MS Teams.
- Strong collaboration, stakeholder management, and accountability skills.
- Excellent communication and facilitation abilities.
- English proficiency (written and verbal).
- Working knowledge of Oracle Learning Management System.
- Experience with online content creation and authoring tools.
- Exposure to basic movie, video, or graphic design tools.
