Job Position: Learning & Development officer
Reem Finance is seeking a dynamic Learning & Development Officer to lead the development, management, and enhancement of our staff skills. The role is responsible for identifying employees’ training and development needs and for planning, organizing, and overseeing appropriate learning initiatives to enhance employee skills, performance, productivity, and quality of work.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Training Needs Analysis (TNA):
· Collaborate with department heads to assess training needs across the organization.
· Conduct surveys, interviews, and performance reviews to identify learning gaps.
2. Program Development & Delivery:
· Develop and execute effective learning programs and materials (e.g., e-learning, workshops, seminars).
· Source or liaise with external providers when necessary.
· Customize training interventions to suit various roles and levels within the organization.
3. Monitoring & Evaluation:
· Track and measure training effectiveness using KPIs and feedback mechanisms.
· Report outcomes and suggest improvements.
· Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with mandatory training.
4. Career and Leadership Development:
· Support Succession Planning by identifying and nurturing high-potential employees.
· Facilitate mentorship and coaching initiatives.
5. Compliance & Reporting:
· Ensure training programs meet legal and industry-specific standards.
· Prepare reports and updates for senior management.
6. Stakeholder Engagement:
· Work closely with HR and management to align training initiatives with strategic goals.
· Communicate effectively with employees at all levels
Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Education, Business, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 4 years in a learning and development role, instructional design, or a related HR function. Experience in banking or financial institutions would be an advantage.
Technical Skills
- Learning Management Systems (LMS): Familiarity with LMS platforms is required for managing and delivering various learning initiatives.
- Instructional Design: Knowledge of instructional design principles (like ADDIE) and tools would be highly valued.
- Microsoft Office: Proficiency in MS Office is a standard requirement.
Core Skills & Knowledge
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for developing training materials and connecting with stakeholders.
- Project Management: The ability to manage multiple projects
- Adult Learning Principles: Understanding how adults learn is key to designing effective programs.
