Job Title: Learning & Development Lead
Permanent, 39 hours a week
Location: 10D Beckett Way, Park West Business Park, Dublin 12
Hybrid Working Model – 2 days in Office, 3 days from home.
Salary: starting from 54,135 - 73,241 based on qualifications and experience
Job Purpose
The Learning & Development Lead partners with business leaders and subject matter experts to identify current and future workforce capability requirements and develop strategic learning solutions that build the skills, knowledge and behaviours required to achieve organisational objectives.
The role leads the design, delivery, commissioning and evaluation of learning and development initiatives, ensuring programmes, pathways and professional development opportunities are aligned to workforce needs, quality standards and organisational priorities. Through evidence-based practice and stakeholder collaboration, the postholder drives continuous improvement in workforce capability, learning effectiveness and employee development outcomes.
Minimum Education & Experience Required
- A third level qualification or equivalent (NFQ8) in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- MCIPD qualification desirable
- Minimum 5 years relevant Learning and Development / Organisational Development experience
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders and subject matter experts to identify, analyse and prioritise current and future workforce capability, skills and knowledge requirements, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy, service delivery needs and emerging workforce trends.
- Lead the design, development and continuous improvement of learning solutions and development interventions, selecting the most effective delivery approaches including classroom, virtual, blended, self-directed and workplace learning methodologies.
- Consult with internal subject matter experts and external learning providers to commission, develop and implement high-quality learning programmes, resources and pathways that address identified organisational capability needs.
- Develop, maintain and regularly review learning and development pathways, skills frameworks and skills-based development initiatives, ensuring employees and managers have clear routes for capability development and career progression.
