Overview
Kaigo is seeking a skilled and motivated Human Resources Generalist to support our growing, multi-site organization. This role provides comprehensive HR support across the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment support, onboarding, HR systems implementation, employee relations, compliance, training and development, and employee engagement initiatives.
Reporting to the HR Manager and working closely with the Recruiter, the HR Generalist plays a key role in supporting the implementation, optimization, and ongoing administration of Dayforce and other HR platforms, while contributing to a positive and compliant employee experience across the organization.
This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys balancing systems work, operational HR, and employee-facing initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
For the remainder of 2026, this role is projected to focus primarily on the development and implementation of Dayforce working closely with the HR Manager. After the implementation, the role will vary between other responsibilities of the overall team and upcoming projects.
This role can be located in either the Okanagan or Lower Mainland. It will be hybrid in office/work from home/work from sites position that could require travel throughout the Okanagan or Lower Mainland.
What You'll Do
HR Technology & Systems (Dayforce)
- Support the implementation, testing, training, and optimization of Dayforce modules
- Assist with applicant tracking configuration and recruitment workflow improvements
- Support onboarding workflows and coordinate orientation programming
- Maintain HR policies within the HRIS and ensure data integrity and accurate reporting
- Support workforce metrics, reporting, and performance management cycles
HR Operations & Employee Support
- Track and report on key workforce metrics (turnover, absenteeism, vacancies, time-to-hire, probation and performance deadlines)
- Serve as liaison for benefits, RRSP, and payroll-related inquiries
- Support employee and labour relations processes, including investigations and documentation
- Coordinate training programs (Respect in the Workplace, DEI, leadership development, mental health awareness)
- Support employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and internal communications
Employee Engagement (Bucketlist)
- Support rollout and ongoing administration of the Bucketlist engagement platform
- Coordinate training, provide user support, and monitor engagement initiatives
Orientation & Workforce Integration
- Support onboarding initiatives in partnership with the Recruiter
- Develop orientation materials and facilitate employee orientation sessions
Immigration & Workforce Compliance
- Track work permit expirations and renewal timelines
- Support LMIA and RCIP application processes and documentation
- Assist with immigration compliance tracking and education
Who You Are
Education & Experience
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong understanding of HR best practices across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance
- Working knowledge of employment legislation and HR policy administration
- Experience supporting immigration processes (LMIA, work permits, RCIP) preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- High attention to detail and strong commitment to confidentiality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation

Pay: $85,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
