This position will fundamentally assist to the organization’s success, by training, coaching, and developing its people through customized training programs, to enhance talent, knowledge, soft skill, and technical skills of all employees at all levels within the organization while ensuring the L&D Strategy is fit for purpose and aligned to the Group Holding L&D Strategy. JOB SCOPE Accountability Area Strategy
•In collaboration with the Group L&D with the Group L&D Manager define, build & implement a Learning &Development strategy ensuring alignment to the Group Holding L&D Strategy.
•Work in collaboration with Group Manager of Learning and Development to ensure that organizationaltraining objectives are identified.
•Create a learning environment where training/capacity building is seen as an integral part of the job therebysupporting the development of a learning culture within the Organization.
TNA (Training Need Analysis) and Training
•Understand, analyze, and assess training needs (Work with business leaders, managers and employees toidentify and assess future and current training needs and trends within the business, both for teams as wellas individuals) by conducting an annual training needs analysis to ensure that the training needs of thebusiness are identified.
•Be an L&D Business Partner to the Organization by meeting regularly with department HOD’s and Directors,providing support where necessary.
•Produce an annual training plan for the business units to ensure that identified learning and developmentneeds are met in a structured and systematic manner.
•Develop design and implement learning strategies and development plans based on the company strategy,TNA and training plan.
•Ensure all technical and job-related skills training is conducted, monitored, and reported on and manage allexternal training delivery.
•For technical training arrange with expert third parties, a solution which includes a blended approach tolearning such as coaching, mentoring, classroom training, 1-2-1 sessions, action learning & e-learning.
•Regularly assess the success of technical training through evaluation and revise where required.
•Monitor the use of all training materials to ensure they comply with brand guidelines.
•Responsible for the coordination, deployment, and delivery of Internship Programs.
Career Plans
•Help managers develop their team members through career pathing.
Ensure all departments have a departmental training plan in place at both a departmental as well as individual level for both soft skills and technical training.
Vendors & Suppliers
•Maintain relationships with vendors and consultants.
•Ensure new suppliers, when required, are properly evaluated and selected in cooperation with Procurement.
•Continually review supplier performance and report on this.
Monitoring & Reporting
•In collaboration with the business and Group L&D Manager, develop and produce a robust set of L&D KPI’s, in line with the business reporting structure and business expectations.
•Drive the Departmental Trainers process by monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of departmental training activities and departmental trainers.
•Where external third-party service providers are engaged, monitor, and advise on required training and report.
•Regularly meet, coach, support and motivate departmental trainers to ensure they are supported in meeting the on-the-job training requirements of their departments.
•Drive the development and certification of Departmental Trainers across the organization.
•Ensure client satisfaction – individual and corporate - is at the forefront of all activity, and report on it.
•Manage L&D budget and report.
Other
•Provide proactive support, advice and guidance on all training and development issues.
•Build strong relationships within the company by being approachable and knowledgeable.
•Manage the communication of information about training events in a timely and professional manner to ensure the business is kept up to date about training and development activities.
•Manage the use of the Learning Management System to ensure the tool is used effectively by users, people managers as well as Trainers.
•Ensure the learning and development function is always managed professionally.
•Perform other duties as assigned by the Direct Manager.

EDUCATION/ QUALIFICATION
Qualifications
•BSc Degree in Education, Human Resources, or relevant field.
•Other professional certification is a plus.
Desirable
•Membership of professional organization in a training and development related field, e.g., CIPD
