For our client, we are seeking a Vice President Learning & Development to join the team of a leader in the Hospitality & Recreation space. This role will advance people and talent initiatives that strengthen organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and employee experience. You will partner with global leaders, HR centers of excellence, and functional stakeholders to create consistent practices across teams and regions. The position offers the opportunity to influence culture, talent strategy, and scalable people operations within a healthcare environment.
Location: Los Angeles, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $220,000 – $240,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Build and manage a global Learning & Development team focused on collaboration and service
- Lead strategic initiatives for scalable, efficient, employee-centered learning programs
- Design and oversee quality learning experiences and ensure consistent global delivery
- Develop tailored leadership pathways for various management levels based on expectations
- Manage UTA's core learning offerings, maintaining focus on quality and execution
- Enhance the effectiveness of the organization’s LMS and overall learning ecosystem
- Streamline learning offerings by utilizing playbooks and toolkits for managers
Qualifications
- 15+ years in Learning & Development or Talent Management, with 5+ years leading a global L&D function
- Success in designing enterprise-wide learning strategies with measurable outcomes
- Expertise in manager and leadership development and adult learning principles
- Demonstrated ability to inspire and lead high-performing teams across various regions
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and content design
- Strategic thinker adept at addressing complex business needs with scalable solutions
- Proficient in data-driven decision-making and using metrics to drive improvement
