About The Role
Are you a strategic leader and visionary ready to revolutionize enterprise learning to drive our high performance, high care culture? At ATB Financial, we are seeking a Director who can shift our focus from content delivery to strategic organizational development interventions that drive measurable business outcomes. As the
Director of Enterprise Learning and Enablement, you will be the lead architect and catalyst responsible for lifting organizational effectiveness and high-performance across the entire enterprise learning system. This is a critical leadership role that demands you partner with senior executives to diagnose complex performance needs, direct the design of customized team development, and oversee bespoke domain learning for Strategic Support Units (SSUs). This is your opportunity to lead systemic impact, drive deep behavioral change, and shape how we grow our people and teams to achieve ATB’s long-term strategic goals.
Accountabilities
- Enterprise Learning and Enablement Strategy Execution: Direct the function's shift from measuring activity to driving outcome-based accountability, linking targeted development and interventions directly to business and team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Lead the core performance and team effectiveness strategy, integrating people analytics data to govern systemic interventions that close verified capability gaps at scale.
- Oversee High-Impact Team Enablement: Oversee the team responsible for the design and delivery of the Team Effectiveness Program, directing efforts to lift group dynamics and high performance, high care behaviors across ATB. Serve as the lead consultant to senior leaders, ensuring all customized interventions are tailored to resolve specific team challenges and performance blockers.
- Direct SSU Strategic Enablement: Act as the primary strategic leader and partner for SSUs, directing your team in identifying critical business gaps and building customized domain learning solutions. Bridge the gap between centralized enterprise learning standards and the highly specific tactical needs of business verticals.
- Champion Large-Scale Behavioral Change: Apply change management leadership to design and integrate programs that drive deep, sustained behavioral change and successful organizational adoption across the portfolio.
Knowledge, Skills And Experience
- Senior Leadership Experience: You bring a minimum of 7 years of corporate learning or Leadership Development experience, critically including at least 5 years leading specialized teams within a complex matrix environment. You are a master of stakeholder management, influence, and prioritization and managing expectations, using transparent communication to drive strategic alignment at the senior level.
- Advanced Organizational Development and Strategic Acumen: Your foundation includes a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, or Business (Master’s degree preferred). You demonstrate exceptional business acumen, critical thinking, and advanced business problem solving, capable of diagnosing and directing solutions for complex organizational challenges.
- Expert in Performance Coaching and Change: You hold a professional coaching certification (e.g., ICF - ACC/PCC/MCC) to expertly direct and support team development and performance interventions. You are also certified in a recognized change management methodology (e.g., Prosci Change Management or CCMP), allowing you to lead successful behavioral and organizational integration.
- Systemic and Inclusive Leadership: You lead with a systems thinking perspective, ensuring program design integrates with the full employee experience lifecycle. You are a champion of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) and skilled at teaming in a matrix environment and cross-functional teaming.
Workplace Arrangement
This position has a hybrid work arrangement. On average, this means at least 1 day on-site per week. Please note that this is subject to change due to business priorities.
