We are currently hiring a Learning & Development Role on behalf of a prestigious client, based in their Dubai office.
Job Description:
- Support the Bank's overall vision, strategy and objectives by developing appropriate learning and upskilling initiatives for employees.
- Identify organizational capability and behavioral gaps, providing support, guidance and recommendations on appropriate L&D initiatives to Group Heads and Senior Management.
- Support and contribute to the design and development of the annual L&D Road Map, driving the delivery through a range of different delivery methods and programs.
- Maintain awareness of the Bank’s strategic objectives and associated business plans, incorporating changes in operating procedures and regulatory frameworks to ensure learning content is accurate and fit for purpose.
- Contribute towards extracting maximum value from the learning budget with a focus on quality, ROI and business impact.
- Lead external stakeholder management for program design, delivery and execution to ensure the learning objectives are met.
- Through effective L&D partnering with Group Heads and Senior Management devise short, medium and long term strategies to support business capability.
- Research and identify external vendors that are capable of designing and delivering L&D programs or initiatives that address targeted capability, skill or behavioral gaps.
- Effective utilization of EIF programs, pathways, classroom and e-learning, to ensure the Banks contribution is fully maximized.
- Undertake robust ROI evaluation to measure impact, ensure effectiveness and drive enhancements in the quality of L&D programs and initiatives.
- Ensure the Bank’s Annual Mandatory Training Programs meet regulatory requirements and is delivered in the most effective and engaging manner.
- Effectively support the Banks’ Emiratization strategy by designing and developing L&D initiatives or programs that address identified learning journeys that both support and retain the Banks UAEN population.
- Ensure effective deployment and management of the Bank’s learning platforms to develop smart, targeted and effective learning journeys that creates high adoption and engagement amongst employees.
- Maintain and enhance learning and development dashboards on a monthly basis to enable efficient management tracking and reporting.
- Develop a learning and development brand by proactive communication and engagement with the business on an on-going basis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Diploma in Business Management, Commerce or Human Resources with good exposure in L&D preferably with good knowledge of the Banking industry.
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in the L&D function, preferably in Banking or related industry, with experience in stakeholder management, learning needs analysis and vendor management.
- Ability to design learning programs.
- Facilitation and presentation experience, ideally as a front-line trainer.
Skills:
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English. Arabic would be an added advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to coach and counsel employees in regards to their development needs.
- Understanding of learning solutions available in the marketplace, including vendor capabilities.
- Has a passion for the utlisation of L&D technology and employee experience.
