✨ Learning & Development Manager – London (Hybrid)

With a young, dynamic and high‑touch culture, the business is now hiring its first Learning & Development Manager - a newly created, high‑impact role with full senior‑leadership buy‑in.
This is a rare opportunity to build an L&D offering from scratch and shape the entire learning strategy for a scaling organisation.
🌟 The Role
As Learning & Development Manager, you’ll take ownership of designing, delivering and embedding L&D initiatives that build capability, strengthen leadership and create a culture of continuous learning.
You will work closely with senior leaders, Heads of Department and internal subject‑matter experts to develop a modern, blended L&D offering that genuinely drives performance.
Key responsibilities include:
• Acting as a trusted learning partner to senior leaders and identifying team‑wide and individual capability gaps
• Designing and personally delivering soft‑skills and management development programmes
• Coordinating technical, company‑specific and role‑specific training
• Building succession planning frameworks and supporting leaders
• Developing structured learning pathways for early‑career and graduate talent
• Supporting and upskilling internal trainers and facilitators
• Creating and managing company‑wide training targets, metrics and reporting
• Building out training materials and guidance with the HR team
• Championing innovative, modern learning methodologies including blended and digital learning
• Measuring training effectiveness and using data to refine programmes
• Contributing to wider people processes including performance planning and development reviews
This role is hands‑on, visible and ideal for someone who enjoys building and delivering learning solutions in a fast‑paced environment.
💡 What We’re Looking For
Must‑haves:
• Proven experience in L&D within a fast‑paced, high‑growth or less structured environment
• Strong experience designing & delivering training (soft‑skills and management)
• Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
• Ability to partner with SMEs and coordinate technical training
• Understanding of succession planning and talent frameworks
• Confidence analysing learning needs and measuring impact
• Creative, entrepreneurial mindset with the confidence to start from a blank page
• Strong stakeholder‑management skills and ability to influence at all levels
• Comfortable working autonomously
Nice‑to‑haves:
• Experience working closely with HR and talent teams
• Experience building an L&D offering or new programmes from scratch
• Exposure to graduate or early‑careers development frameworks
