The Talent Development Partner is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of learning and development initiatives across the organization. This role will partner closely with business leaders and HR teams to build a high-performance culture through effective capability development, leadership programs, and talent initiatives.
The role requires an experienced L&D professional with a strong background in fast-paced operational environments such as FMCG or manufacturing, where large-scale workforce development, leadership capability building, and operational training programs are critical to
business success.
Key Responsibilities
Learning & Development Strategy
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Learning & Development strategy aligned with the organization’s business objectives.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to identify capability gaps and design targeted development initiatives.
- Lead the creation of structured leadership development programs for emerging and senior leaders.
- Ensure learning initiatives support business transformation, productivity, and operational excellence.
Talent Development & Capability Building
- Design and implement competency frameworks, career pathways, and development plans.
- Lead initiatives focused on succession planning and high-potential talent development.
- Support managers in developing coaching and feedback capabilities within their teams.
- Embed a strong culture of continuous learning and development across the organization.
Learning Program Design & Delivery
- Oversee the design and delivery of technical, leadership, and behavioral learning programs.
- Implement blended learning approaches including classroom training, digital learning, workshops, and on-the-job development.
- Manage relationships with external learning providers and training consultants.
- Ensure learning programs are scalable across operational and corporate functions.
Performance & Leadership Development
- Support the performance management process through targeted development interventions.
- Design programs to strengthen leadership capability and people management skills.
- Provide coaching and guidance to senior leaders on talent development strategies.
Learning Analytics & Effectiveness
- Measure and track the effectiveness of learning programs using relevant metrics and feedback tools.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on learning data to continuously improve programs.
- Ensure learning investments deliver measurable impact on business performance.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as a strategic partner to HR Business Partners and functional leaders.
- Work closely with senior leadership to align talent development initiatives with business priorities.
- Collaborate with HR teams to integrate L&D initiatives with broader talent management strategies.
Experience
- 8–12+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, or Organizational Development.
- Proven experience leading L&D initiatives within FMCG or manufacturing organizations.
- Experience supporting large-scale operational or production workforces.
- Demonstrated success designing and delivering leadership and capability development programs.
