Head of Learning and Development
First Class Group
We are hiring a Head of Learning and Development to design and lead the learning framework that supports First Class as it scales rapidly. This role is focused on building structured training systems that improve performance, leadership capability, and operational excellence across the organization.
This is a strategic role for someone who understands how learning drives consistency, quality, and long-term business results.
Key Responsibilities:
Learning Strategy and Frameworks
• Design and own the learning and development strategy across all departments
• Build structured onboarding and role-based training programs
• Create scalable learning systems that support rapid team growth
• Align learning initiatives with business goals and operational standards
Performance and Capability Building
• Develop training programs that improve execution, productivity, and service quality
• Create leadership and management development tracks
• Identify skill gaps and design solutions to address them
• Ensure teams are equipped to perform at a consistently high level
Content and Delivery
• Build training content, including playbooks, guides, workshops, and digital learning material
• Standardize best practices and knowledge sharing across teams
• Work closely with department heads to tailor learning to real operational needs
Measurement and Continuous Improvement
• Define success metrics for learning initiatives
• Track effectiveness and continuously improve programs based on outcomes
• Ensure learning remains relevant as the business evolves
Who You Are
• A strategic learning professional with strong execution skills
• Experienced in building training systems from the ground up
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments
• Confident working with senior leadership and department heads
• Structured, detail-oriented, and outcome-focused
Requirements
• Proven experience in learning and development or training leadership roles
• Strong background in designing scalable learning frameworks
• Experience supporting performance and leadership development
• Ability to translate business needs into practical training solutions
• Experience in real estate, hospitality, technology, or service-driven businesses is an advantage
