Role Overview
The Learning & Development Partner plays a key role in elevating people capability and brand excellence across the luxury retail network. This position partners closely with retail leaders, HR teams, and brand management to design and implement impactful learning strategies that enhance customer experience, drive commercial performance, and support long-term talent growth within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Learning Strategy & Needs Assessment
- Collaborate with business leaders and HR to identify skill gaps and future learning priorities across retail stores, corporate, and regional teams.
- Conduct regular training needs analyses (TNA) and translate insights into targeted learning roadmaps aligned with brand and business objectives.
- Support the development of a long-term learning strategy focused on retail excellence, leadership development, and employee engagement.
2. Program Design & Delivery
- Design and deliver bespoke learning programs focused on luxury client experience, product knowledge, leadership capability, and service excellence.
- Partner with global brand training teams and external vendors to ensure alignment with brand standards and luxury retail expectations.
- Facilitate interactive workshops, onboarding programs, and store leadership development initiatives.
3. Talent & Capability Development
- Support talent development and succession planning through curated learning journeys for retail and corporate populations.
- Develop learning paths for Store Managers, Assistant Managers, and high-potential sales teams to strengthen leadership pipelines.
- Champion a culture of continuous learning and empower employees to take ownership of their professional development.
4. Learning Operations & Measurement
- Oversee the execution of the annual training calendar, ensuring timely rollout and consistent learning experiences across all boutiques.
- Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) to track participation, progress, and learning outcomes.
- Evaluate program effectiveness through feedback, post-training assessments, and performance metrics to demonstrate learning impact.
5. Stakeholder & Brand Partnership
- Act as a trusted partner to retail and brand management teams, offering insights and recommendations to enhance learning impact and business performance.
- Build strong relationships with global and regional brand trainers to ensure local relevance and alignment with brand DNA.
- Promote and communicate learning initiatives effectively to engage and inspire employees at all levels.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related discipline (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Learning & Development, preferably within the luxury retail, fashion, or hospitality industries.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering learning programs in multicultural and fast-paced retail environments.
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning tools.
