As the Learning and Development Specialist for the Group company, this position is responsible for ensuring the efficiency of the L&D and performance management data processes and identifying areas for improvement. The specialist designs and documents daily, weekly, monthly reports and helps identify trends in historical reports.
Duties:
- All aspects of Performance management cycle working with people managers to ensure adoption.
- Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and help inform, influence, support, and execute our business decisions for the L&D Team and performance management cycle.
- Prepare and build reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends
- Monitor the integrity and validity of the data reported and be able to quickly endorse details about data and analyses for the group L&D
- Effectively communicate with external and clients and internal teams to deliver reports in time
- Provide summary documentation on the acquired results of the analysis
- Works with internal teams to automate or streamline data collection processes
- Manage any change requests related to data or data collection
- Leverages tools, such as PMS, LMS & Excel to drive efficient analytics
- Addresses data integrity issues and works to solve root cause process or LMS & PMS systems issues partnering with IT
- Identify, evaluate, & implement training needs according to employees and business needs.
- Based on research, plan and implement training programs that will prepare employees for the next step of their career paths
Skills
- 5+ years’ experience doing quantitative analysis
- Experience with L&D, performance management, HRIS systems, and any other related programs useful for executing the above responsibilities
- Experience with SAP or Workday; specifically building custom reports as well as having a strong understanding of Workday data structures
- Advanced skills in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Ability to analyze and document complex business processes
- Basic understanding of statistical analysis and the ability to gather and interpret relevant data and information
- Ability to coordinate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance
- Ability to communicate the results of analyses in a clear and effective manner
- Ability to know when a question requires reporting on basic data vs. sophisticated statistical analysis
- Good project management skills
- Good understanding of data visualization principles
- Experience working with HR/organizational people data preferred (e.g. L&D metrics)
Education
- BA/BS in a field that emphasizes analyzing, displaying, or reporting on data
