We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Learning and Development Specialist to join a national HR team. This role focuses heavily on in-person facilitation and supports training initiatives across multiple regions. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with a senior trainer and contribute to the delivery and improvement of learning programs for diverse internal audiences.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver high-quality in-person training sessions for employees at all levels.
- Facilitate workshops, onboarding programs, technical training, and change management sessions.
- Adapt content and delivery style to meet the needs of various participant groups.
- Collaborate on national learning projects with teams across multiple locations.
- Update or occasionally design training materials, including presentations and guides.
- Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
- Work closely with internal partners to address training needs and support organizational learning goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a learning and development role with a strong focus on in-person facilitation.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles.
- Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
- Experience delivering training in professional environments.
- Ability to lead simultaneous sessions and support diverse learning needs.
- Experience designing or updating training content is an asset.
- Experience working with geographically dispersed teams is a plus.
Salary range: $65,000 – $90,000
