Overview
As a key member of the national team, the Coordinator, Education & Accreditation supports the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale educational initiatives across the organization. This role plays a central part in education project coordination, accreditation processes, Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) operations, and Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration.
Key Responsibilities
1. Education Project Coordination
- Support the planning and implementation of national education initiatives, including new program launches, curriculum redevelopment, and credential framework projects.
- Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and documentation across multiple stakeholders (SMEs, partners, internal teams, etc.).
- Track project milestones and provide progress updates.
- Maintain organized project documentation, workflows, and reporting tools.
2. Accreditation Operations
- Support the administration of institutional accreditation processes and reviews.
- Assist in preparation of accreditation materials, reports, and agreements.
- Ensure consistency and adherence to national standards and policies.
3. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Administration
- Coordinate the RPL process with administrators.
- Support review panels and documentation preparation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of RPL processes and member experience.
4. Learning Management System (LMS) Administration
- Support LMS setup and maintenance for programs, courses, and learning pathways.
- Manage course shells, permissions, and learning assets.
- Troubleshoot LMS issues and liaise with vendors and IT support as required.
- Support reporting, analytics, and data accuracy within the LMS.
- Assist with implementation of new tools, integrations, and digital learning workflows.
5. Curriculum & Education Operations Support
- Assist with Curriculum documentation, course mapping, and version control.
- Support subject matter experts and institutes in coordinating course materials and updates.
- Maintain education templates, policies, procedural documentation.
- Contribute to quality assurance processes for programs and courses.
6. Stakeholder & Partner Coordination
- Serve as the point of contact for institutes and education partners regarding operational matters.
- Coordinate meetings, communications, and follow-ups related to education initiatives.
- Support cross-department collaboration with institutes, marketing, and operations teams.
7. Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Track education metrics, accreditation status, and RPL volumes.
- Prepare summary reports and operational updates.
- Identify process improvements in education administration and learner support workflows.
Qualifications and Education
- Post-secondary education in education, project management, or a related field
- OR a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered
- Experience coordinating complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Experience in education administration, accreditation, or academic program operations preferred
- Experience with Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or prior learning assessment processes is an asset
- Experience administering or supporting a Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working cross-functionally in a collaborative environment
- Proficiency with project tracking tools and digital systems
- Experience in a not-for-profit, professional association, or post-secondary environment an asset
- Knowledge of credentialing or professional education environments is an asset
- Bilingual (English/French) is an asset
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
