Learning & Development (L&D) Project Manager
Job Summary –
We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven L D Project Manager to lead complex, enterprise-wide learning initiatives with a strong focus on innovation, scale, and GenAI-enabled learning solutions. This role goes beyond traditional project management, partnering closely with business leaders, cross-functional teams, and technology teams to design, deliver, and continuously improve learning programs that leverage data, automation, and generative AI. Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Years of experience needed –
10 Plus years of strong hands-on project management experience, with 5 plus years in L and D
Required Skills:
- Proven experience managing complex, enterprise-level learning programs
- Proficiency with LMS platforms and digital learning solution
- Hands-on exposure to GenAI tools or AI-driven learning platforms
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to quickly adapt to faster pace, shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Responsibilities –
- Lead end-to-end project management for L and D initiatives, including onboarding, leadership development, compliance training, and upskilling programs
- Identify and implement GenAI use cases across the learning lifecycle (e.g., content creation, personalization, assessments, learning analytics, coaching bots)
- Partner with instructional design and tech teams to embed AI-driven learning solutions responsibly and effectively
- Oversee pilot programs for GenAI enabled tools and scale successful solutions across the organization
- Ensure ethical, compliant, and secure use of AI in learning initiatives
- Expertise in creating L and D curriculum for internal teams.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (instructional designers, facilitators, LMS admins, vendors) to ensure smooth delivery
- Ensure learning programs meet quality standards and align with organizational learning strategy
- Manage communication with stakeholders, providing regular status updates and reports
- Oversee pilot programs, rollouts, and post-launch evaluations
- Use data and feedback to measure program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement
- Maintain project documentation and governance standards
