We are seeking a
Coordinator, Learning to join our team in
any of our
offices.
The purpose of this role is to support the implementation of the Firm’s learning initiatives and compliance training to promote a culture of a continuous learning for all members of the Firm. Another primary function of this role is the administration of our learning management system.
Key Responsibilities
Internal Programming
- Coordinate all program related logistics, including configuring all course settings in the LMS, preparing all program messaging to be sent via the LMS or through Outlook, arranging any in person boardroom and set-up requirements, liaising with presenters and vendors to prepare for the program and gather program materials, liaising with other business services group to ensure the in-person and/or virtual classroom is set up appropriately, and updating the internal planning rubric.
- Under the direction of the Manager, Learning, upload internally recorded content onto the LMS for post-program viewing.
- For group webcast viewings, coordinate all related logistics, including obtaining budget approval from the appropriate Practice or Specialty Group Leader or Business Services department.
- Ensures that all inquiries in the learning mailbox are responded to promptly, coordinating with colleagues for assistance when additional context, knowledge or expertise is required.
- Assists the Generalist, Learning with the implementation of onboarding and career advancement programming.
- Assists the Specialist, Learning team with the implementation of technology programming.
Compliance Training Administration
- Under the direction of the Manager, Learning, maintain all compliance records in a centralized location and provide regular reporting on compliance statistics to the General Counsel (“GC”), Chief People and Culture Officer (“CPO”), Senior Director, People and Culture, and Director, Learning and Pro Bono.
- Under the direction of the Manager, Learning, provide regular reporting to all People Leaders on their direct reports’ progress with all outstanding compliance requirements.
- Assist the Manager, Learning with compliance vendor relations, including acting as an administrator for vendor content platforms, maintaining regular contact with Client Success Managers, remaining appraised of all scheduled system updates/upgrades, and submitting support tickets to troubleshoot technical issues.
Learning Management System ("LMS") Administration
- Coordinate the creation of online courses, curricula, resources and other learning assets on the LMS.
- Under the direction of the Manager, Learning, record all CLE/CPD accreditation information for programming and generate certificates of attendance for applicable programs.
- Log attendance for live or virtual programs using sign in sheets, attendance surveys or virtual meeting usage reports and complete accuracy checks to ensure attendance is tracked appropriately.
- Pull attendance records of online viewing to ensure a complete CLE/CPD record of attendance.
- Generate automatic regular reporting to assess usage of the LMS and interest in programming offered.
- Act as the LMS administrator and LMS subject matter expert by providing guidance on how to configure the platform, courses, curricula and users.
- Support internal and external content development projects by consulting on appropriate LMS configurations, including how assessments and evaluations should be scored so proper data analytics can be run within the LMS, how to layout pre-work or post-work in the LMS, how the content is connected to learning paths or competencies, etc.
- Look for opportunities to develop efficiencies and automated processes in the LMS, and consult on new or novel uses of the LMS.
- Train Learning team members and managers on the use of the system, including by creating templates and documenting best practices.
- Assist the Manager, Learning with LMS vendor relations, including maintaining regular contact with the LMS Client Success Manager, remaining appraised of all scheduled system updates/upgrades, and submitting support tickets to troubleshoot technical issues.
What You'll Bring
- Diploma, certificate or degree in Adult Education or Human Resources or 2 -3 years of experience in a learning and development role.
- Bilingualism in French and English is an asset.
- Experience in administering a Learning Management System.
- Proficiency in Intermediate Excel, Intermediate PowerPoint, Intermediate Word.
- An understanding of adult learning principals and how to apply them in the workplace an asset.

Compensation
We offer a market-leading total rewards package with the expected range of the annual salary to be between $53,000 to $63,000.
The final salary is influenced by the location of the incumbent and may fluctuate based on the qualifications, skills, and market considerations, ensuring alignment with internal and external pay equity standards.
