About the opportunity:
The OD Manager, Talent & Organizational Effectiveness leads national strategies that strengthen the talent pipeline, accelerate leadership capability, improve engagement, and enhance organizational culture. As a strategic advisor, the role defines organizational development priorities, governs talent and leadership frameworks, and drives succession, DEI, engagement, and OE initiatives. It also oversees flagship programs, partners with global teams to embed best practices, and uses analytics to inform executive decisions and measure impact.
What we are looking for:
1.Talent Governance & Succession
- Lead the annual talent cycle, including performance management and succession planning.
- Strengthen talent practices across HR teams and ensure consistent tools and methodologies.
- Partner with global talent teams on mobility and succession opportunities.
- Serve as Lactalent super user to maintain data quality and reporting accuracy.
2. Leadership Development
- Set national leadership development priorities and build future-ready capability.
- Align development plans to succession needs and key talent pipelines.
- Deliver training in talent management, career pathing, and coaching.
- Govern Canada’s mentoring strategy to support leadership growth.
3. Engagement Strategy
- Lead Canada’s lifecycle of the global engagement survey and standardize action planning.
- Develop national engagement strategies and improve overall engagement governance.
- Oversee engagement deliverables from the Industrial Talent Manager.
4. Organizational Health & Analytics
- Analyze organizational health metrics and provide insights to inform executive decisions.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to support OE priorities.
- Partner with Total Rewards on people analytics and KPI development.
5. DEI Strategy & Governance
- Design and execute multi-year DEI strategies and long-term planning.
- Oversee DEI Council, ERGs, and related communication and change initiatives.
6. Organizational Effectiveness & Operating Model Projects
- Partner with leaders to design and deliver OE initiatives, including structure, role clarity, and operating model improvements.
- Facilitate leadership workshops and culture alignment initiatives.
- Support org design through analysis, structure mapping, and workshop coordination.
7. Communications & Change Leadership
- Develop messaging and communication strategies that support cultural change and leadership model adoption.
- Act as a key change partner on major initiatives across Canada.
8. Culture, Retention & Continuous Improvement
- Govern culture transformation initiatives and improve employee experience.
- Use analytics to identify retention risks and shape enterprise action plans.
- Streamline and optimize OD programs for continuous improvement.
9. Stakeholder Partnership
- Build strong relationships with HR, business leaders, and global partners to advance strategic priorities.
- Coach HR leaders on OD frameworks and methodologies.
10. People Leadership
- Lead and develop a high-performing team (HR Coordinator/Student).
- Guide HR Managers and oversee Industrial Talent Manager deliverables aligned to OD strategy.
What you will bring:
- University Degree in Organizational Development, HR Management, Business, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in organizational development, talent management, OE, project management, or HR (experience with manufacturing or supply chain environments is an asset).
- CHRP/CHRL designation an asset.
- Experience in CPG or food manufacturing industry an asset.
- Advanced capability in analytics, change leadership, and OD frameworks.
- Bilingual French/English an asset.
- Leadership & Influence: Shapes organizational direction, influences senior stakeholders, and mobilizes cross-functional teams toward enterprise goals.
- Strategic Thinking: Diagnoses complex organizational needs, connects insights to business strategy, and designs future-focused solutions.
- Enterprise Project Leadership: Leads large-scale, multi-stakeholder initiatives with strong planning, governance, and execution capabilities.
- Organizational Health & Analytics: Interprets data and KPIs to identify trends, risks, and opportunities; translates insights into strategic actions.
- Executive Communication & Storytelling: Crafts compelling narratives and presentations that drive engagement and adoption at all levels.
- Change Leadership: Guides cultural and organizational transformation with clarity, influence, and consistent messaging.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Alignment: Builds trust and alignment across global teams, senior leaders, and HR partners.
- Innovation & Results Orientation: Champions creative solutions and continuous improvement to deliver measurable impact.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; experience with SAP, SuccessFactors, Lactalent, Canva, and enterprise learning systems.

Compensation:
As part of our commitment to fairness, trust, and transparency and our ambition to be an Employer of Choice, the base salary range for this position is $111,400 – $139,200+.
