As the Director of Learning & Development, you will define enterprise learning strategy, build world-class programs, and partner with executives to transform the workforce for the future.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Learning Strategy Leadership: Develop and execute a global L&D strategy that aligns with business priorities, talent needs, and organizational growth.
- Leadership Development: Design enterprise-wide leadership programs, executive learning experiences, and future-readiness capability models.
- Learning Systems & Technology: Manage and optimize digital learning platforms (LMS/LXP), AI-driven learning tools, and enterprise skill taxonomies.
- Skills Transformation: Lead skill-gap analysis, workforce capability mapping, and learning pathways for critical roles and emerging functions.
- Program Execution: Oversee curriculum design, talent development programs, onboarding experiences, and performance enablement initiatives.
- Culture & Engagement: Drive initiatives that foster a continuous learning culture, career mobility, and employee engagement.
- Measurement & Analytics: Establish learning KPIs, dashboards, ROI analytics, and reporting to evaluate program impact.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and lead global L&D teams, instructional designers, facilitators, and learning technology specialists.
- Cross-Functional Partnerships: Collaborate with HR, DEI, Talent Acquisition, Operations, and senior executives to ensure learning alignment with enterprise goals.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, Leadership Development, Organizational Development, or Talent Strategy.
- Proven success designing enterprise learning strategies in technology, healthcare, corporate enterprise, or large multi-site organizations.
- Experience managing advanced learning platforms (LMS/LXP) and emerging technologies (AI/ML learning tools, content automation, analytics).
- Strong understanding of adult learning theory, instructional design methodologies, and capability development frameworks.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in HR, Organizational Psychology, Education, or MBA preferred.
- Experience leading global teams, managing budgets, and partnering with C-Suite stakeholders.

- Support enterprise transformation by aligning learning programs with digital modernization and organizational change.
- Influence corporate planning related to talent readiness, leadership pipelines, and global workforce evolution.
Working Conditions
- Remote role with occasional travel for leadership workshops, learning summits, and enterprise planning meetings.
- Requires flexibility to support learning teams and participants across global time zones.
