Job Description
Portico are on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Learning & Development (L&D) Manager to support a large national client in delivering an exceptional front-of-house customer experience strategy.
This part-time role involves designing and implementing training programs for over 150 team members, ensuring consistent and high-quality service delivery across all locations that are aligned with our client goals and brand standards.
As well as designing and implementing a variety of training sessions through in-person workshops, virtual platforms and on-the-job coaching. They will monitor and evaluate training outcomes, providing feedback and continuous improvement recommendations.
The L&D Manager will also support the onboarding process for new team members, and maintain training documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Although the successful L&D Manager will work exclusively with the team members of a specific contract, they will also need to work in collaboration with the central Portico L&D team to assess training needs and measure the effectiveness of their programs.
The successful candidate will need to be open to regional travel to deliver training. However, they will have the autonomy to work remotely when possible.
Hours: 24 hours per week across 3 days. The days of work are flexible and based on project needs.
Qualifications
It is essential for the successful candidate to have proven experience in L&D management, preferably in the customer service or hospitality sectors, giving them a solid understanding of FOH operations and customer experience strategies.
Experience with e-learning platforms and instructional design tools is desirable.
The successful candidate will need to have excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as a strong ability to build strong working relationships with their colleagues.
They will be able to manage multiple training initiatives and adapt quickly to shifting priorities.
