Main Job Purpose
The Group L&D Manager is responsible for designing and executing the organization’s learning and development strategy across all business units. This includes identifying capability gaps, implementing training programmes, and fostering a culture of continuous learning aligned with strategic goals.
Accountabilities
Learning Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement group-wide L&D strategies and frameworks.
- Conduct training needs analyses and skills-gap assessments.
- Design and deliver blended learning solutions (e-learning, workshops, coaching).
- Evaluates training effectiveness and ROI.
Talent Development
- Lead succession planning and career pathing initiatives.
- Oversee leadership development programmes and high-potential talent pipelines.
Operational Excellence
- Manage L&D budgets and vendor relationships.
- Ensure compliance with local labour laws and internal policies.
- Maintain accurate training records and generate analytics reports.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with business leaders to align L&D initiatives with organisational goals.
- Act as a consultant to department heads on learning interventions.
Job Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
•HR Certification is a must.
•Certified Trainer/Assessor are highly valued.
Experience: Minimum 6–8 years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial or group-level role.
Skills: Proficiency in LMS platforms, instructional design tools, and data analytics for training effectiveness.
Languages: Excellent command of Arabic & English languages.
