About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Learning and Development (L&D) Specialist to design, implement, and manage training programs that elevate employee performance and drive organisational success. With at least 8 years of hands-on experience, the ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and skilled facilitator with a strong ability to translate business goals into impactful learning initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Learning Strategy & Design
- Develop and execute comprehensive L&D strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify skills or knowledge gaps and recommend targeted training interventions.
- Design engaging learning experiences using blended methods: in-person workshops, e-learning, coaching, job aids, and webinars.
- Program Delivery & Facilitation
- Deliver high-impact training sessions across all organizational levels, including leadership development, onboarding, compliance, and technical upskilling.
- Partner with department heads to tailor programs specific to team goals and development plans.
- Track, analyse, and report on participation, completion rates, and learning effectiveness.
- Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor program outcomes using data and feedback to measure ROI and drive continuous improvement.
- Adapt training methods and content to emerging trends, learner preferences, and digital innovations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with HR, managers, and senior leaders to embed a culture of continuous learning.
- Serve as a trusted advisor for leadership and career development paths across the business.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Psychology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in Learning & Development or Talent Management, with proven ability to design and implement end-to-end L&D programs.
- Hands-on experience with training delivery, LMS administration, instructional design, and facilitation.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyse data and present insights to influence L&D and talent strategy.
- Certifications such as CPLP, SHRM-SCP, or relevant instructional design credentials are a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in a fast-paced, multicultural, or matrixed organisation.
- Proficiency in e-learning tools (Articulate, Captivate, Canva, etc.).
- Familiarity with behavioral assessments, 360-degree feedback, or competency frameworks.
