Job Summary:
The Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist is responsible for identifying training needs, designing and delivering learning programs, and supporting the continuous development of employees across the organization. This role ensures that learning initiatives align with business goals and contribute to improved performance, engagement, and career growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct training needs assessments through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and consultation with managers.
- Design, develop, and deliver engaging training programs (classroom, virtual, and blended) across various departments.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using metrics, feedback, and performance outcomes; recommend improvements.
- Support the creation of competency frameworks and learning pathways for different roles.
- Maintain a training calendar and ensure timely execution of mandatory and developmental training sessions.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to schedule and manage training sessions.
- Create and maintain training materials, manuals, e-learning content, and other documentation.
- Monitor learning trends and recommend innovative L&D tools and methods.
- Assist with onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
- Maintain accurate training records, generate reports, and ensure compliance with learning policies.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in learning and development, talent development, or training roles.
- Experience in instructional design, e-learning tools, and adult learning principles.
- Certification in L&D (e.g., CIPD, ATD, or similar) is a plus.
- Certification in Coaching/Mentoring is preferred.
