As a Learning & Development Officer, you will analyse, evaluate, develop and deliver learning programs to a multicultural audience within the Emirates Group and its strategic partners by using blended training methods. All training must be aligned to the corporate objectives, Vision, Mission and Values, and must comply with National and International standards and regulations.
In This Role, You Will
- Plan, design and develop training and assessment activities, related to training and testing of English language proficiency at all stages of employment.
- Ensure all content is up to date and compliant with standards prescribed by Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), (relevant for English Language skill test from Level 2 to Level 5).
- Support HR talent acquisition team with record updates pertaining to English language training and testing.
- Conduct ad hoc English language training and assessment activities based on business requirement.
- Support third party requirements for English language training and assessment as required.
- Support the L&D Specialist to maintain the Trainers Competence Record, and act as liaison between Trainers and Registered Training Organisation (RTO) for document submission.
Qualification
To be considered for the role you must meet the below requirements:
- Degree of an internationally recognised professional qualification in the area of expertise. The jobholder will be required to have a training qualification equivalent to City and Guilds International Certificate in Teaching and Training. OR
- 12 yrs schooling or equivalent The jobholder will be required to have a training qualification equivalent to City and Guilds International Certificate in Teaching and Training.
- More than 2 years of work experience in a similar role or 5 years depending of qualifications.
- Knowledge of training packages, relevant competency and performance standards, policies, legal requirements, codes of practice and national and international standards and industry best practices to be used as the basis of the learning program
- Knowledge of Instructional design principles relating to different design options for learning program design and structure
- Relevant OHS knowledge relating to the work role, and OHS considerations that need to be included in the learning program.
- Sound evaluation skills to determine the time required for each learning segment and the overall timelines of the learning program. Sound cognitive skills to develop the learning program content and design its structure
- Ability to read and interpret a range of documentation, including technical and subject matter documents.
