We are seeking an experienced and proactive Learning & Development (L&D) Partner to join our team. As an L&D Partner, you will play a critical role in aligning Whizmo’s learning and development strategies with the needs of the business and its employees within the financial services sector. You will work closely with business leaders, managers, and employees to drive the continuous learning culture, enhance workforce performance, and support career development. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, delivering, and managing learning initiatives that foster a high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities, Duties and Accountabilities
Learning Strategy Development: Collaborate with business leaders to assess training needs and develop comprehensive learning strategies aligned with business goals and organizational values.
Program Design & Delivery: Create and facilitate engaging learning experiences, including technical and soft skills training, leadership development programs, and compliance training.
Training Needs Analysis: Conduct regular needs assessments across departments to identify skills gaps, career development opportunities, and emerging trends in the financial services industry.
Learning Content Management: Develop and curate relevant learning materials, resources, and tools that support employee growth and business success.
Coaching & Mentorship: Provide coaching to leaders and managers on fostering a learning culture and offer individual development support to employees.
Performance Tracking & Reporting: Measure the effectiveness of learning programs using qualitative and quantitative data to ensure continuous improvement and business impact.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Work cross-functionally with HR, business leaders, and department heads to align training initiatives with organizational needs and future goals.
Leadership Development: Design and implement programs that cultivate leadership potential and enable future business leaders to grow within the organization.
Compliance & Regulatory Training: Ensure that employees are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to meet industry regulations, compliance standards, and legal requirements.
Talent Development: Support succession planning and career development initiatives, fostering employee retention and growth.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree or certifications in Learning & Development, Organizational Development, or similar is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Learning & Development, with a focus on the financial services sector or a highly regulated industry.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the financial services industry, including regulatory environments, market trends, and financial products/services.
- L&D Expertise: Proven track record of designing, delivering, and evaluating learning programs at scale. Experience in e-learning platforms, LMS systems, and blended learning methods.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical skills to assess training needs and measure the impact of L&D initiatives.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to develop and manage learning content, including digital and classroom-based resources.
- Strong project management skills to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
