Learning & Development Advisor (Contract, 6 Months+)
We are seeking a collaborative and experienced Learning & Development Advisor to support the design and delivery of engaging learning solutions for a variety of professional audiences. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, translating business needs into learning strategies, and working closely with instructional design teams to bring programs to life.
This role is ideal for someone coming from either a Learning & Development, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or Instructional Design background who thrives in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Partnering with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify learning needs and training objectives
- Translating stakeholder and SME requirements into clear direction for instructional designers and learning developers
- Acting as the bridge between business teams, facilitators, and learning design teams to ensure learning solutions align with organizational goals
- Supporting the development of instructor-led, virtual, blended, and self-directed learning programs
- Assisting with learning content reviews, program updates, and quality assurance
- Coordinating feedback cycles and ensuring learning deliverables are completed on time
- Advising on adult learning principles, learner engagement, and training best practices
- Supporting multiple learning projects simultaneously within a collaborative team environment
- Helping maintain consistency across learning materials, learner experiences, and program standards
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in Learning & Development, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Instructional Design, or related areas
- Strong experience working with subject matter experts and gathering learning requirements
- Ability to clearly communicate learning needs and business objectives to instructional designers and development teams
- Understanding of adult learning principles and modern learning methodologies
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Experience supporting learning projects in corporate, professional services, education, healthcare, or similar environments is considered an asset
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

Expected Compensation: CAD $82,000.00 – 95,000.00 (pro-rated for contract duration paid hourly based on 37.5 hour work week))
