Department Overview
Monex University is the core of all learning and development initiatives across Monex group globally. This includes Commercial learning and development, HR Learning and development and development programs such as leadership development and tailored university programs.
All learning initiatives will be managed on the 360-learning platform ensuring there is a standard approach for global learning.
Job Overview
This role will lead the delivery and daily management of Monex University. This is a delivery-focused role which covers learning, operations and cross functional activities.
There is ownership of the 360Learning platform, coordinating programmes and content across teams and regions, while ensuring learning journeys are practical, engaging, and aligned to our global growth objectives.
The role will involve planning and operational delivery, and bring clarity, organisation, and momentum to complex, multi-region programmes.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Build and Manage Monex University Infrastructure
- Own the end-to-end configuration of the 360Learning LMS platform for global sales, leadership, and business enablement training. Sales training content to be obtained from the business and head of Commercial Training and Development.
- Lead user provisioning, group and cohort design, permissions, tagging logic, and integration with Workday and SSO systems.
- Set up platform governance and admin protocols, ensuring accurate data, reporting integrity, and seamless learner experiences
- Lead Global Learning Programme Design and Execution
- Design and deliver structured learning journeys for onboarding, development, and cross-functional teams across UK, EU, and North America.
- Coordinate with the head of Commercial Training and development and sales leaders across the business to upload relevant sales content.
- Own programme planning and timelines for flagship initiatives including The Darden Leadership Development Programme and The 360Learning platform
- Manage all aspects of programme delivery: assessment creation, SME engagement, application and grading processes, live webinar support, and communication coordination.
- Content Development & Authoring Oversight
- Collaborate with SMEs and external vendors to convert source materials into SCORM-compliant modules using Articulate and other tools
- Define and enforce quality standards for learning materials ensuring clarity, accessibility and branding consistency
- Drive the development of assignments, quizzes, and interactive learning formats that improve knowledge retention and learner engagement.
- Data, Reporting & Performance Insights
- Build tracking systems, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor learner engagement, completions, and performance improvements
- Integrate learning data into broader sales and performance reporting to drive insight-led coaching and identify development gaps
- Establish monthly reporting cadence for senior leadership across countries and business units.
- Global Stakeholder Engagement & Governance
- Serve as the L&D focal point across regional HR teams, compliance, IT, sales leaders, and executive sponsors
- Lead alignment and governance processes across global stakeholders—ensuring local needs, regulatory requirements, and cultural nuances are addressed in every programme
- Represent L&D at cross-functional meetings and executive briefings.
- Drive Operational Excellence and Innovation
- Build repeatable processes for SME engagement, programme application, participant selection, and grading
- Continuously improve workflows, platform setup, and delivery models—leveraging feedback, data, and experimentation
- Support innovation projects such as the use of AI in call coaching, adaptive pathways, and personalised learning recommendations.
- Regulatory and Compliance Training
- Ensure all training initiatives meet the regulatory requirements of various jurisdictions.
- Foster a compliance culture, embedding risk management into training programmes to meet the standards of regulated financial services firms such as Monex Europe.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with the compliance, operations, and sales teams across global regions to ensure training is aligned with Monex’s strategic and regulatory priorities.
- Act as the key liaison between senior management and sales teams, driving consistent messaging and collaboration.
Business Knowledge / Technical Skills
- Proven experience within a regulated financial services firm, particularly in the FX market.
- Deep understanding of regulatory environments across multiple regions (e.g., FCA, MAS, FINTRAC).
- Expertise in designing modular, scalable training programmes that meet business objectives and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrable knowledge of Monex products (Spots, Forwards, Options) and other hedging/risk solutions, as well as target vertical markets.
Leadership / Management Skills
- Strong leadership capabilities with a proven track record of managing cross functional teams and influencing at the senior management level.
- Ability to align training initiatives with business strategy and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
