Leadership & Organizational Development Specialist (Consulting), HRIS, to play a key role in one of the agency’s most significant transformation initiatives, the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) Modernization Project. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Leadership & Organizational Development Consulting, you will be responsible for the execution of implementing the learning and development design for the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) Modernization Project that would enable the successful adoption of our modernized HR systems.
As a trusted Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will shape how employees learn, grow, and engage with new technology, while also leading broader organizational development and learning initiatives across the agency. This is a unique opportunity to influence enterprise-wide change at the AGCO.
What You Will Do (but Not Limited To)
- Develop and implement a learning and development roadmap that embeds Learning & Development (L&D) programs into the HRIS platform.
- Serve as an L&D and Organizational Development (OD) SME on the HRIS Modernization Project, translating business needs into effective learning and change solutions.
- Provide expert guidance to the HRIS project team on training strategy, system adoption, and user readiness.
- Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams to align learning initiatives with system design, user experience, and change management strategies.
- Conduct learning needs assessments to define objectives and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Design scalable learning pathways and digital content to support system adoption and employee development.
- Apply advanced knowledge of adult learning, instructional design, and organizational psychology to shape high-impact development programs.
- Design learning solutions that strengthen leadership capability, performance, and cultural change.
- Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend strategic enhancements.
- Assess LMS functionality, identify gaps, and recommend best practices for setup, configuration, and reporting.
- Translate business requirements into LMS workflows and processes through stakeholder consultation.
- Design accessible eLearning solutions, training standards, and instructional materials that meet the needs of diverse learners based on identified needs.
- Produce comprehensive program documentation, including instructor guides, participant materials, job aids, and visual resources.
- Deliver training in multiple formats (in‑person, virtual, and hybrid).
You Have
- Post-secondary education in Adult Education, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum five (5) years of directly related experience in organizational development.
- Certifications or advanced training in training, learning and development, coaching, or facilitation.
- Solid knowledge of adult learning principles, educational practices, and training theories.
- Understanding of learning and development trends and best practices.
- Proficiency with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and Learning Management System (LMS) tools.
- Knowledge of L&D frameworks, strategies, and program development.
- Understanding of HR policies, legislation, and initiatives affecting human resource management.
- Familiarity with competency frameworks linked to recruitment, learning, and other HR functions.
- Experience in developing, designing, and delivering training and development programs.
- Persuasion and motivational skills to support learners requiring additional guidance.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, SharePoint, and e-learning software/tools (e.g., Adobe Captivate, Canva).
- The successful candidate must be eligible to work in Canada and will be subject to a criminal background check.
