Job Overview
Jet Mortgage is seeking an experienced Wholesale Training Manager to support the continued growth of our wholesale platform, with a strong emphasis on Non-QM products. This role is critical to ensuring consistent onboarding, product knowledge, and execution of excellence across sales, operations and credit. Prior mortgage training experience required in Wholesale lending. This is a highly visible role with a direct impact on production, quality, pull through and broker confidence.
Location: Remote (Must be able to support team members in different time zones.)
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Support
- Train Wholesale Account Executives, Underwriters and Account Managers on products, systems, guidelines, and pricing
- Support sales effectiveness by reinforcing product positioning, scenario structuring, and broker communication best practices
- Partner with Sales Leadership to align training with production goals, initiatives, and market strategies
- Provide ongoing training to support new product launches, guideline changes, and sales campaigns
Operations Support
- Train Operations, and Underwriting, on wholesale processes, workflow efficiency, and quality standards
- Reinforce best practices to improve turn times, file quality, and compliance
- Collaborate with Product, Credit, Compliance, and Secondary teams to ensure training reflects current guidelines and regulatory requirements
- Assist with remediation and targeted training to address performance gaps or quality findings
Training Development & Delivery
- Design and facilitate onboarding and ongoing training programs for Sales and Operations roles
- Develop and maintain training materials including presentations, job aids, guides, SOPs, and videos
- Deliver engaging live, virtual, and recorded training sessions
- Track training participation and effectiveness and provide reporting to leadership
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 5+ years of mortgage industry experience with strong wholesale channel knowledge
- Wide product knowledge with heavy emphasis on Non-QM programs
- Prior experience in mortgage training
- Strong understanding of wholesale lending workflows, guidelines, and compliance
- Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills
- Experience supporting both Sales and Operations teams
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and process discipline
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
