Position Overview
We are hiring a full-time recruiter to scale both sides of the business:
- Unlimited retail Loan Officer recruiting for Home Front Mortgage
- Targeted mortgage and Escrow Officer recruiting for all Joint Ventures
This is not a standard 9 to 5 role. Do not apply unless you have direct mortgage industry recruiting experience, specifically recruiting commission-based Loan Officers in a mortgage broker environment. Recruiting salespeople is a completely different skill set than recruiting salaried staff, and we will not consider applicants without this background.
Base salary is 60,000 with strong bonuses tied to recruiter volume and successful placements.
Core Responsibilities
Mortgage Recruiting – Retail LO Focus
- Build a nonstop pipeline of experienced retail LOs
- High-volume outbound calling using RETR, MLOFLO, ZipRecruiter, and internal lists
- Run discovery calls, qualify production, and manage the full recruiting pipeline
- Maintain monthly job ads and update all sourcing channels
- Track conversion metrics and activity inside MLOFLO
- Partner with Regional Managers on hiring targets across multiple states
- Oversee LO handoffs through onboarding for smooth integration
Joint Venture Recruiting
- Recruit Loan Officers, Processors, Closers, and title staff for JV markets
- Enforce the JV hiring framework: background checks, personality exams, credit checks, and 100-day plan requirements
- Coordinate onboarding workflows with Admin and leadership (email setup, system access, training)
- Maintain a standing bench for new market launches
Daily Execution
- Heavy outbound recruiting activity with consistent volume
- Keep organized, accurate pipelines and weekly updates
- Drive hiring tied to capture and production growth
- Handle follow-up, scheduling, and conversions without handholding
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 3 years mortgage recruiting experience
- Required: direct experience recruiting commission-based retail Loan Officers
- Strong phone skills and the ability to convert candidates quickly
- High-output work ethic and urgency
- Able to manage pipelines, systems, and KPIs
- Mortgage broker recruiting experience is mandatory
Compensation
- Base salary 60,000
- Bonuses tied to recruiting volume and 30/60-day retention
- No cap on earnings
