The role
We are currently looking for a confident and energetic Learning & Development Specialist to deliver engaging, classroom-style training while also designing and refreshing key programmes such as induction, service excellence and call-handling. Acting as the face of learning, you'll work closely with teams to understand their needs, scope solutions and create impactful learning experiences.
Partnering with the People Development Manager, you'll take ownership of the full learning cycle in design, delivery and evaluation, ensuring learning drives real performance outcomes. You'll also support wider initiatives, review mandatory training and collaborate across teams, bringing fresh ideas and energy to shape learning across the organisation.
Experience in training/facilitation is desirable, however if you're a confident communicator with transferable skills (such as skills gained from a service related background) and a genuine interest in developing others, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Duties
- Own the Corporate Induction programme, continually looking for opportunities to refresh the content to ensure an excellent onboarding experience for new starters
- Lead the delivery, embedding and evaluation of The London Clinic's Service Excellence programme
- Own the design and delivery of Personal Development workshops and growing People Development offering
Undertake effective scoping activities to highlight and identify appropriate learning solutions
- Support with the roll-out of bespoke departmental projects and organisational learning initiatives that increase capability and employee engagement
- Support with ensuring The London Clinic fulfils its statutory mandatory training requirements and compliance is maintained across the organisation
- Work with People Development Manager and Clinical Development colleagues to ensure best practice is delivered and sets the highest standards of quality and evaluation for learning interventions
- Build strong and positive working relationships with all stakeholder groups
- Work with the wider People Team to deliver a seamless service to each other and stakeholder groups within the Clinic
- Consistently role model the London Clinic values and high-performance leadership behaviours
- Ensure continuous improvement by collecting data, evaluating the effectiveness of interventions and adjusting accordingly to ensure solutions are effective and impactful in-line with the 70:20:10 model
Skills and Experience
- Confident facilitator able to engage, inspire and motivate delegates
- Ability to create engaging training material using Word, PowerPoint etc.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, generating cooperation and buy in to thoughts and ideas
- Able to self-manage and work within tight time frames
- Planning and organisational skills with ability to flexibly adapt to change
- Strong team player and able to build meaningful relationships
- A relevant learning and development qualification such as CIPD - desirable
- Previous experience of designing discovery-based learning interventions - desirable
- Hospitality/service background and/or experience of delivering customer service training would be advantageous
