Learning & Development Manager
Hybrid – Irving, TX (2 days onsite/week)

We are seeking a dynamic
Learning & Development Manager, who will split time between managing our learning platform (Oracle Learning) and designing modern, high-impact training experiences that support operational excellence across our clubs.This role reports to the VP of Learning & Development and partners closely with HR, Risk & Compliance, functional leaders, and club teams to ensure learning is accessible, measurable, and aligned to business priorities.
What You’ll Do
Oracle LMS Administration & Ownership
- Serve as the system owner and subject matter expert for Oracle Learning (Oracle LMS), ensuring platform stability, accuracy, and optimal configuration.
- Manage learning initiatives, assignments, eligibility profiles, auto‑enrollment rules, and learning catalogs.
- Oversee user access, security roles, data integrity, and ongoing system maintenance.
- Troubleshoot LMS issues and partner with Oracle Support and HRIS on system defects and enhancements.
Compliance & Certification Management
- Configure and manage compliance training programs (e.g., safety, food/alcohol service, harassment, ethics).
- Lead the implementation and ongoing management of certification tracking within Oracle LMS (e.g., ServSafe, TABC, food handlers), in partnership with HRIS.
- Ensure accurate renewal cycles, notifications, and audit‑ready reporting for regulatory and operational compliance.
Learning Experience & Content Management
- Partner with L&D stakeholders to design and deploy engaging learning pathways, curricula, and blended learning experiences.
- Manage third‑party content integrations (e.g., external libraries imported into Oracle Learning).
- Ensure content is organized, searchable, and aligned to job roles and career pathways.
Reporting, Analytics & Insights
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track completion, compliance status, overdue training, and learning effectiveness.
- Provide regular insights to HR, Compliance, and Operations leaders to support decision‑making.
- Identify and resolve data or reporting limitations within Oracle Learning.
Cross‑Functional Partnership
- Act as the primary liaison between Learning & Development, HRIS, IT, Compliance, and Operations on learning system initiatives.
- Support enterprise initiatives that leverage Oracle HCM (e.g., talent reviews, onboarding, career development) where learning data intersects.
- Contribute to the learning technology roadmap, including future enhancements and automation.
Governance & Continuous Improvement
- Establish standards, documentation, and best practices for LMS usage and learning data governance.
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce manual work, and improve the learner and administrator experience.
- Stay current on Oracle Learning updates, releases, and emerging learning technology trends.
Instructional Design & Development
- Consult with regional and functional leaders to identify performance gaps and define measurable outcomes.
- Select the appropriate learning modality (eLearning, VILT, video, microlearning, job aids, blended solutions).
- Design engaging, learner-centered content using proven adult learning principles and rapid design methods.
- Develop high-quality learning experiences using tools such as Articulate 360 (Rise/Storyline), Synthesia, Vyond, Adobe, and related platforms.
- Ensure accessibility and inclusivity standards are embedded in all learning solutions.
- Build assessments and practical application activities to reinforce learning and measure effectiveness.
- Use feedback and performance data to continuously improve programs.
- Manage project timelines, scope, vendor coordination, and documentation.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Instructional Design, Information Systems, or related field.
- 4–7+ years of experience managing an enterprise LMS, preferably Oracle Learning (Oracle HCM Cloud).
- Strong understanding of compliance training, certification management, and large‑scale learning deployments.
- Experience partnering with HRIS and external vendors on system configuration and optimization.
- Strong analytical skills with experience building reports and dashboards.
