The Commitment
- Assist in developing and updating employee training modules under the guidance of the Senior Knowledge Management Analyst
- Support users with basic LMS navigation and lesson development questions
- Review training materials for accuracy & consistency
- Help maintain training content for relevancy
- Coordinate training schedules and maintain training calendars
- Assist with reporting from metrics in Appficiency's LMS on a regular basis
- Collect, compile, and report on feedback following training sessions
- Maintain organized records of training materials, versions, and updates
- Assist with the logistics and coordination of webinars
- Support the planning and execution of KM events (in-person or virtual training, recognition events)
- Provide administrative support for training assessments and participant evaluations
- Help prepare materials and resources for learning programs
- Communicate with employees regarding training schedules and resources
- Collaborate with internal teams to support the deployment of learning programs
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for program improvements
- Provide timely responses to basic training-related inquiries
- Assist with basic video editing tasks for training content
- Help troubleshoot common technical issues with the Appficiency's LMS platform
- Support the maintenance of the knowledge management system
The Essentials
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, Business, Communications, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in learning & development, training, instructional design, education, HR or related experience
- Comfortable learning new software platforms quickly
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) or willingness to learn
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) - specifically Excel (pivot tables, pivot graphs) for reporting
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Eagerness to learn and grow in the knowledge management field
- Experience with an orientation program at previous work
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to explain concepts clearly to diverse audiences
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- Interest in learning video editing tools (Camtasia, Audiate, or similar)
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
