Our client, a leading organisation in the financial services sector, is seeking a highly organised and proactive Learning & Development Project Coordinator to support the smooth delivery of Early Careers and broader L&D initiatives. This role is heavily centred on project coordination, logistics, stakeholder engagement, and event delivery, rather than designing learning content.
About the Role
You’ll play a vital role in managing the operational flow of Early Careers programmes and firmwide learning initiatives. This is a dynamic, people-facing position that requires exceptional organisation, confidence, and the ability to run high-quality events.
In this role, you will regularly interact with senior stakeholders, providing updates, coordinating schedules, and ensuring they are well-briefed and engaged in programme delivery. You will also be responsible for hosting and supporting events, from Early Careers induction days to L&D workshops, ensuring everything runs seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate project plans, timelines, and operations for Early Careers programmes (graduate, intern, and apprenticeship)
- Manage end-to-end logistics for learning events, workshops, and development activities
- Host and support both virtual and in-person events, ensuring a professional and engaging experience for participants
- Act as a trusted point of contact for senior stakeholders, providing clear communication and ensuring expectations are met
- Liaise with external vendors, trainers, and internal partners to align schedules, attendance, and resources
- Track and manage bookings, attendance, and follow-up actions
- Maintain accurate data across L&D systems and produce regular reports, dashboards, and insights
- Monitor project milestones, flag risks, and support timely issue resolution
- Contribute to improving operational processes and ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery across programmes
About You
- Experience in L&D coordination, HR operations, Early Careers support, or project administration
- Confident liaising with and presenting to senior stakeholders
- Comfortable hosting events and representing the L&D function professionally
- Highly organised with strong project coordination and multitasking skills
- Data-literate, with experience using Excel, reporting tools, or dashboards
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced corporate environment, ideally within financial services
- Tech-friendly, with experience using LMS/LXP platforms or HR systems
Why This Opportunity?
This is an excellent role for someone who enjoys organising, coordinating, and bringing people together. You’ll gain valuable exposure to high-impact talent initiatives and help shape the Early Careers experience within a respected financial services institution
