We are now looking for an experienced and passionate Learning & Development Facilitator to join our team and play a key role in shaping the skills, knowledge and confidence of our colleagues across our services.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver our blended learning programme through virtual/webinar sessions, interactive workshops and coaching.
- Facilitate Safer People Handling training and support colleagues to achieve competency.
- Work closely with Operations, Homes and HR teams to ensure new colleagues receive a strong, supportive induction.
- Help identify and address skills gaps within our Homes to reduce risk and meet the needs of the people we support.
- Carry out observational assessments to promote best practice and evaluate learning impact.
- Use our learning management system effectively to record, analyse and report on learning activity.
About You
- Award/qualification in Education & Training.
- Level 4 People Handling & Risk Assessment Key Trainers Certificate (or equivalent).
- At least 5 years’ experience in the Health & Social Care sector.
- Strong understanding of the UK care regulatory landscape.
- Full understanding of person-centred care.
- Experience delivering training to both large groups and individuals.
- Experience working with or training teams supporting people with learning disabilities and autism.
- Strong IT skills and familiarity with LMS systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confident, engaging facilitator with a creative training style.
- Ability to work independently, stay calm under pressure and maintain confidentiality.
- Flexibility to travel frequently, including overnight stays.
- Full driving licence and access to a car.
