About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Talent to join our recruitment agency and take full ownership of our people strategy. This isn’t a typical internal TA role, it’s a strategic and hands-on position where you will shape hiring strategy, develop and upskill our consultants, influence culture, and play a critical role in the growth of our people and performance across all offices.
If you’re passionate about recruitment excellence, developing talent, and building high-performing teams, this is a career-defining opportunity.

- Run coaching sessions, workshops and performance clinics.
- Support managers through capability development, feedback models and leadership coaching.
- Create training that improves performance, retention and billings.

- Mentor consultants and leaders individually and in groups.
- Provide ongoing coaching that strengthens performance, behaviours and best practice.
- Support team leads with management capability and performance frameworks.
- Champion a culture of transparency, improvement and accountability.

Travel Requirements
- Regular travel to regional offices to support internal hiring, coaching, training and team development.
- Ability to work flexibly, with occasional overnight stays where required.
Experience & Requirements
- Previous experience in a Head of Talent, Internal Talent Lead, L&D Lead, or Talent Development role within a recruitment agency is essential.
- Strong operational and strategic awareness of how agencies function, scale and perform.
- Proven success designing and delivering training, coaching and L&D frameworks.
- Ability to influence at senior level and work collaboratively across the business.
- Confident communicator with excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
- Commercial mindset with an understanding of revenue impact and performance levers.
