About the Opportunity
A growing consulting and technology‑focused organization is seeking a Director of People & Culture to build, elevate, and scale its People function. This role blends strategic leadership with hands‑on execution and is ideal for someone who thrives in high‑growth environments, cares deeply about culture, and wants to shape how an organization attracts, develops, and supports its people.
What You’ll Lead
Strategic Leadership & Culture
- Advise the executive team on org design, talent strategy, and employee experience.
- Strengthen a culture rooted in inclusion, performance, and innovation.
- Lead initiatives focused on team health, engagement, DEI, and retention.
Talent Acquisition & Pipeline Management
- Own the full candidate lifecycle from sourcing to offer.
- Build and refine processes for inbound applicants, referrals, and recruiter‑submitted candidates.
- Maintain a structured talent pool with segmented pipelines (pre‑qualified talent, niche skillsets, alumni, future needs).
Employer Brand & Candidate Experience
- Position the organization as an employer of choice in the tech and consulting sectors.
- Oversee candidate communication workflows to ensure a high‑touch, consistent experience.
- Partner with marketing on talent‑focused content such as culture stories and team spotlights.
People Operations & Employee Lifecycle
- Own onboarding and offboarding programs that create strong first and last impressions.
- Develop frameworks for performance management, goal setting, and feedback.
- Manage core People policies (leave, compliance, benefits) in partnership with legal/operations.
- Leverage systems and tools to streamline HR operations and documentation.
Team Development & Coaching (Longer Term)
- Design and oversee learning and development programs.
- Provide coaching and development support to people managers and executives.
- Champion internal mobility and career progression pathways aligned with the organization’s operating model.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $140,000 - $160,000
- Annual Bonus: 15%
- Retirement Savings: RRSP contribution of 8%
- Vacation: 4 weeks Additional benefits and perks will be discussed during the interview process.
