Join us as a Senior Manager, Learning and Development, where you will lead our Consumer and Shopper Engagement (CSE) Academy and play a crucial role in shaping the training and development of our global Contact Centre teams!
This role is a fixed-term contract until August 2026. Based in Slough, it follows our ‘Best of Both’ approach with the flexibility to work 3 days a week from the office and 2 days from home.
No relocation assistance is offered for this position.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a global Learning & Development team of 30-40 employees across multiple managerial levels, who focus on designing and delivering classroom training and e-learning for onboarding and ongoing skills development.
- Establish clear roles and responsibilities within the team and foster a collaborative culture.
- Coach and challenge the team to perform to the best of their ability, providing regular feedback and encouraging an atmosphere of personal development.
- Accountability for all Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and the development of a learning strategy and training road maps to support future capability needs across all levels in CSE.
- Guide the team in crafting and delivering induction training and skills development for customer-facing employees, ensuring alignment with business goals and brand representation.
- Work collaboratively with the wider L&D team, to leverage synergies of business-wide initiatives and to actively influence and cater for generic CSE training needs.
- As a member of the global CSE leadership team, participate in strategic direction setting and leadership of the entire CSE department. Deliver some leadership training to senior groups.

The Senior Manager, Learning and Development, leads the CSE Academy, a global team of training specialists and managers who design and deliver training, onboarding and development activities to the CSE department with a focus on customer-facing employees. The Senior Manager develops the learning strategy and training road maps, evaluates current and future skill requirements across CSE, conducts ongoing TNA and engages with the wider L&D team in order to put a successful L&D strategy for CSE in place.

- Leadership exposure through complex business change and growth
- Demonstrated expertise in training, learning and development
- Effective collaboration in a global matrix organisation
- Confidence to contribute to strategy development and to communicate strategic direction effectively
- Excellent facilitation, presentation and communication skills
- Experience of agile working with great planning skills
