We are seeking a Learning & Development (L&D) Manager, which is a strategic and mission-critical role within NexOps, responsible for driving operational excellence, compliance, workforce scalability, and innovation enablement across multi-site data center operations. This role transforms the Learning Management System (LMS) into a strategic engine for workforce capability and growth, while embedding a culture of continuous learning, safety, and career development. The L&D Manager ensures that NexOps remains future-ready, compliant, and competitive in a rapidly evolving data center landscape.
Key Accountabilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive multi-site learning strategy aligned with NexOps operational and compliance objectives.
- Partner with leadership to identify skills gaps, forecast workforce needs, and embed future-ready capabilities (AI, automation, ESG literacy).
- Champion NexOps’ values of accountability, innovation, resilience, empathy, and integrity through learning initiatives.
- Ensure all engineers, operators, and technicians are trained to global standards to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
- Standardize training across geographies to reduce variability and enable cross-site mobility.
- Optimize onboarding to reduce time-to-productivity by 30%.
- Build clear pathways for employee development, retention, and internal promotion.
- Act as system architect to map roles, competencies, and training pathways.
- Embed compliance tracking and audit readiness with 100% verifiable records.
- Drive LMS adoption and accessibility across mobile, multilingual, and field environments.
- Leverage analytics to demonstrate ROI and align workforce planning with training outcomes.
- Design and deliver programs across technical operations, IT, compliance, leadership, and soft skills.
- Integrate digital learning ecosystems, AR/VR simulations, gamification, and micro-certifications.
- Prepare workforce for AI, predictive maintenance, smart infrastructure tools, and sustainability practices.
- Ensure full compliance with ISO, OSHA, NFPA, Uptime Institute, and regional regulatory standards.
- Implement leadership development tracks and succession planning programs.
- Increase internal promotion rates by 20–30% annually.
- Hold authority to evaluate, select, and manage vendors for certifications, digital learning, and specialized content.
- Control L&D budget allocation, prioritizing high-impact initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in IT, HR, or related field.
- Professional certifications (ATD, SHRM, CDCP, DCCA) highly desirable.
Minimum Experience:
- 8–10 years’ experience in L&D, with leadership in multi-site/global operations.
- Proven track record of LMS ownership, digital learning innovation, and vendor management.
- Expertise in data center operations or mission-critical environments preferred.
- Strong instructional design, stakeholder management, and cultural intelligence.
- Analytical mindset with ability to link training to KPIs and ROI.
