Scope of work (JOB PURPOSE)
The Learning & Development Executive will support the design, delivery, and coordination of training and development initiatives across the Resort. The role will also play a key part in driving employee engagement, recognition, and culture-building programs that enhance colleague satisfaction and retention.
Main Responsibilities
Learning & Development
- Coordinate and administer training programs across departments in alignment with business objectives and brand standards.
- Support the development of training calendars, materials, and all learning modules.
- Maintain training records, attendance, and reporting to ensure compliance with audit and brand requirements.
- Partner with departmental trainers and leaders to identify learning needs and skill gaps.
- Assist in conducting induction sessions for new employees, ensuring a consistent and engaging brand introduction.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance improvement indicators.
Employee Engagement & Recognition
- Support the planning and execution of engagement initiatives, events, and communication campaigns that promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Coordinate employee recognition programs ensuring fair and transparent processes.
- Gather feedback through surveys and focus groups to measure engagement and suggest improvements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create innovative activities and initiatives that boost morale and reinforce company values.
Administration & Reporting
- Manage L&D documentation, attendance tracking, and data updates related to training and engagement activities.
- Prepare reports and dashboards on training completion, engagement results, and recognition metrics.
- Support budget tracking for learning, engagement, and recognition programs.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- At least 2 years of experience in Learning and Development
- Thrives in a fast paced, results-oriented environment requiring a high degree of flexibility whilst retaining business disciplines.
- Verbally articulate.
- Previous experience of working alongside multiple departments.
- Experience of managing and implementing innovative projects.
Job-Specific Skills:
- Knowledge of Microsoft packages: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Email.
- Numerically and grammatically accurate.
- Understanding of learning needs analysis. Creation of training programs.
- Fluent in English
