About the Role
We are seeking an L&D Specialist to support training initiatives within the Fund Accounting department. This role will involve taking over existing training responsibilities and delivering prepared learning materials to groups ranging from 8–100+ participants. You will also provide support as the team transitions to a new fund accounting system (FundGuard).
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver training sessions to small and large groups (8–100+ participants).
- Support the Fund Accounting department’s L&D activities, taking over responsibilities from the current lead.
- Leverage existing training materials to facilitate sessions (content already prepared).
- Provide support during the implementation of a new fund accounting system (FundGuard).
- Maintain and update training materials as required.
- Build effective working relationships with stakeholders across departments.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience in a Learning & Development (L&D) environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Background in banking or securities (preferably Wealth360/W360).
- University degree and/or expertise in adult education and learning principles.
- Completion of the Derivatives Fundamentals course from the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI) OR strong knowledge of Derivatives.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Knowledge of derivatives (REDS).
- Understanding of fund accounting processes.
- Experience creating or updating training materials.
