Learning Manager
Location: Slough, UK (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Contract Length: 6 months, with potential extension
We are seeking a Learning Manager to join a dynamic EU learning team. This role will report to the Learning Partner UK&I and work closely with the Head of Learning EU. The Learning Manager will play a key role in enabling the Patient Value Strategy (PVS) by building capabilities, fostering a learning culture, and supporting the development of impactful training solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted Learning partner to internal stakeholders in the UK&I business.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships across functions, gathering insights into business priorities and identifying learning needs.
- Execute capability and onboarding training plans for all products and indications.
- Support the adaptation of global learning campaigns into effective local solutions.
- Promote a culture of trust, reflection, empowerment, and knowledge sharing.
- Act as an ambassador for the global learning strategy, proactively capturing business needs and aligning solutions accordingly.
- Facilitate engaging blended learning experiences using face-to-face and virtual formats.
- Brief subject matter experts, ensure content consistency, and create or adapt local content as required.
- Leverage internal operations teams and external agencies to deliver onboarding and training events.
- Monitor and measure the impact of learning initiatives, ensuring compliance with local requirements.
Experience & Criteria
- Available within 1 month or less.
- 1–3 years’ progressive experience in Learning, Talent Development, or a related field.
- Experience in pharma, life sciences, or high-growth innovative industries is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of sales training, with prior experience as a sales representative or in sales management a plus.
- Proven track record in deploying and implementing local learning and development programs.
- Experience working directly with and supporting business leaders.
- Skilled in working within cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
