VP of Talent Development
We are currently looking for a VP of Talent Development - this role plays a hands-on role in designing, delivering, and supporting impactful learning initiatives across the organisation. Working closely with the strategic lead for Talent Development, this role focuses on creating engaging learning experiences for employees at all levels, from onboarding to leadership. It contributes to building clear, practical learning across sales enablement, compliance, management & leadership, and core skills for central services teams. Through coaching, workshops, and performance-focused training, this role helps align learning with business objectives while supporting individual growth, enhancing team capability, and driving organisational success.
This role is based in our London office and reports into the Global Head of Talent Acquisition and Learning and Development.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Training & Pathway Development
- Design, deliver and continuously refine sales training pathways across multiple levels (Trainees to Management), following TRG Talent Development structure and best practices (IGAM, eLearning, facilitation methods).
- Ensure the training content reflects current market challenges, evolving client expectations, and commercial priorities.
- Facilitate interactive, blended learning sessions both virtually and in person.
Desk-Side Coaching & Performance Enablement
- Partner with managers of people to deliver practical, on-the-desk coaching tailored to individual consultant needs.
- Use live call feedback, pipeline reviews, and planning sessions to embed learning and build accountability.
- Monitor post-training impact and feed insights back into content improvement.
- Train and support users on systems including Phoenix, Elevate, Power BI & LinkedIn Recruiter.
Management & Leadership Development
- Deliver management training modules aligned to our internal leadership framework.
- Provide coaching and support to first-line managers on performance conversations, team development, and operational management.
- Support succession planning by developing emerging leaders through focused learning journeys.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
- Build strong relationships across the business at all levels to align learning with business goals and ensure a consistent learner experience globally.
- Provide data driven consultation on learning gaps, team needs, and performance trends.
Learning Design & Continuous Improvement
- Design training materials, resources and toolkits that are practical, scalable and engaging.
- Gather feedback, track learner outcomes and learning data to inform iterative improvements and evaluate effectiveness. Use experience and feedback to recommend improvements.
- Stay current with learning trends, adult learning theory, and sales best practices.

- Evaluation & Impact: Measures learning effectiveness and uses data to drive improvements and demonstrate business impact.
- Change Enablement: Develops programs that foster adaptability, resilience, and engagement during organisational change.
